This course is only open to students who have completely Floristry 101 as it is a continuation of the five-week Floristry 101 course, allowing students to further develop their skills and creativity as a Floral Designer. With a focus on advanced floral design techniques, this five-week course is perfect for those looking to excel in their career as a professional in the industry.
Students are to bring tool kits provided in Floristry 101. All the materials and supplies required for the course are included in the cost except the tools from 101:
• Flowers, greenery, non-perishable design elements
• Containers and vases
• Wire, ribbon, floral glue
Week One: Wedding Centrepiece Arrangement
This class gives the student the opportunity to design a garden styled wedding centrepiece using chicken wire as the base instead of floral foam.
Week Two: Wrist Corsages and Floral Crowns
This class gives the students the skills they need to create wrist corsages and floral crowns.
Week Three: Statement Arrangements
This class will introduce students to mechanics and skills to build large, oversized arrangements for weddings and events.
Week Four: Bridal Bouquets
Students will learn the basic skills required to design hand-tied bridal bouquets. Various techniques for finishing bouquets with ribbon will also be taught.
Week Five: Student's Choice
As the final class in the 102 series, the students will decide as a group what type of arrangement/installation they would like to focus on for the last class. Suggested projects would be: ceremony installation, table installation/meadow, ceremony pillars - etc.

This class is only open to students who have taken our Floristry 101 class and are over the age of 18. Full payment is required to reserve your spot. This class is non-refundable or transferable.
