Lithops are also known as Living Stone Plants. They grow in rocky areas and camouflage themselves to avoid being eaten by grazing animals. They are desert plants that thrive in compacted, sandy soil with little water and blistering hot temperatures. They grow in specific patterns and can go months without water, depending on which stage they're at during the year.
The care for these plants is quite particular - they are dormant in both summer and winter. They will require watering only once or twice in the fall and again in the spring. Make sure the soil is completely dry before watering.
Watering – Water 1 to 2 times in the Spring and Fall only.
Light – Low to medium indirect light. Avoid direct light.
Measurements – Plant is in a 4" growers pot. Ceramic planter sold separately.
